On Creativity

So much of creativity is about explaining your own emotions, or state of mind, to yourself. Finding yourself, I guess you could say. We would have conversations growing up with friends and siblings that would inspire t shirts and hoodies we’d design. We’d get in trouble at school or work or with our parents and come back with stories to share with each other. And we’d laugh it off. It like amplified the joy these conversations brought us. The clothes were a vehicle for connection. But it was always about the connection. It’s deeper than just a hat or a t shirt.
